Hi, I'm Mallory, an East Coast transplant currently living in Seattle, WA.
My passion for counseling comes from my own lived experience with mental health struggles throughout my life. I received a diagnosis of ADHD in my 20's and while it was an enlightening experience it also brought so many questions of how did the people around me or myself not notice sooner. This has encouraged me to help others understand their brain and appreciate the differences in a world where being different is still a struggle.
At my heart I am an animal person and encourage clients to include their pets in the therapy space to allow them comfort and familiarity. I believe that telehealth gives a unique opportunity to incorporate fun components of a client's life that I try to make the most of in session.
When I am not working, I like to read (mainly fantasy novels), write, drink coffee, and spend time with my pets. I am originally from the South, but spent many years in Boston attending college, therefore, I am a Boston sports fan.
