Your muscles are what tells your nervous system if there is a need to be in an activated state or not. If your muscles are relaxed, then your body can't be in an activated state. Try the following activities to release that tension:
Rub your muscles that are tense
Practice Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) exercises
Stretch your body
Exercise in an intentional way
Go "worm" mode and let all your muscles go at onceĀ
Get a massage
