ADHD
I have experience working with clients who are diagnosed with ADHD and often times they come to me suspecting this diagnosis. I believe that having a diagnosis of ADHD helps to create a gameplan on what symptoms need to be addressed to help them feel adjusted in this ever changing world. A diagnosis also helps with normalizing behaviors that are common with folks who have ADHD.
My focus on working with ADHD is learning how it impacts brain functioning and learning how it impacts my client's life. With this information we can start incorproating skills to increase activity, motivation, and self-compassion.
